Old Man Emu Tacoma Suspension and ARB Locker

In May I and a couple of friends volunteered our trucks to support ten mountain bikers woo wanted to ride the White Rim Trail Canyon Lands NP. As I haven't been on my bike for a long while I want in shape to ride but I could drive and enjoy the trip that way. Good enough for me! See that trip report here. Before going though I wanted to upgrade the suspension on my Tacoma. The two main reason were, 1) there were enough miles on the truck that the shocks and struts were nearly done and 2) I wanted to improve the trucks suspension for off roading in general and wash board roads in particular. The new springs/struts gave me around two inches of lift and a much much better ride. At the same time I had a locker installed in the rear differential. That'll give me much better traction in rough tough offroading. Very happy with the results and with Sierra Expeditions. If you need professional upgrade work done on your offroad ride, be sure and have a conversation with Will, the owner.
